Progressive new abortion law is approved in Mozambique. There are only a few countries in Africa where abortion is legal. In January 2015, Mozambique became one of them, when outgoing President Armando Guebuza signed a new bill into law. This is a major victory for women’s reproductive rights in Mozambique.
